Hospice Care
Hospice care is a special way of caring for a patient whose disease connont be cured. To be eligible, the patient must be certified by a physican to be terminally ill with a life expectancy of six months or less. It is available as a benefit under Medicare Hospital Insurance. Medicare beneficiaries who choose hospice care will receive support services for their terminal illness. However, these benefits do not cover all of the services that can assist in the transitions occuring during this challenging time.
EssentialCare engages those in hospice care with a range of services aimed at ensuring the patient spends his or her last days in a rewarding, dignified manner. Perhaps above all, EssentialCare passionately believes that everyone has a story worth telling.
